Roncesvalles Village Historical Society

This subcommittee of the RMRA, is mandated to promote knowledge of local history and the collection of primary
material such as interviews with long term residents for archival purposes. The recent commemoration of the founding of Sorauren Park in September represented our first event.
We meet on the second Tuesday of every month in members' homes and welcome new members.

Ward 14 Problem Properties Task Force

Please Note: This is not a RMRA committee, rather the RMRA is an active member of this ward wide committee.

Is there a property in our neighbourhood where you feel there is a problem that needs investigating? For example, a house that leaves their garbage carelessly strewn about their yard?  Or a bar/restaurant whose patrons are not being respectful of its neighbours late at night?  Or a neighbourhood park that is becoming a hangout for undesirable behaviour?
The Ward 14 Problem Properties Task Force (PPTF) may be able to help you.  The PPTF meets monthly and investigates problems like these with an ultimate goal of rectifying the issue in the most constructive way possible.  The PPTF is represented by the following organizations:  
- Councillor Gord Perks' Office (Ward 14 Parkdale-High Park)
- City of Toronto - Municipal Licensing and Standards
- City of Toronto – Public Health
- Toronto Police Service
- Toronto Fire Services
- The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
 - High Park Residents Association (?)
- Parkdale Residents Association
- Roncesvalles-Macdonell Residents' Association
- Sunnyside Community Association
